As a counsellor I started training in 1992 when I embarked on an introductory level I,followed by Level II certificate then I progressed to diploma level in 1996 . I engage in regular supervision,I am fully insured and have ongoing training and development to support my professional registration. I have practised in mainly health settings,GP practices,hospitals both NHS and private.I have worked with a diversity of clients [some hospital based]with a variety of issues.I am comfortable working both short and long term with clients to suit the individual or organizational requirements.I am registered with Private Health Providers.I am also an Affiliate counsellor with Employee Assistance Providers,and gain referrals from client recommendations ,and local businesses .I trained to work with couples in 2009,and have completed bereavement ,victim support and mentor training,I have vast experience of eating disorders [1999-2010].I have over the years encountered many issues ,and areas I have experience in are vast My private setting is safe,confidential,professional yet not clinical.Initially counselling begins with a meeting whereby you can decide whether you feel safe to share and pursue the process.
