About me

I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP II) and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP #373157). I have a BSc in Psychology from the Open University London and a PGDip in Psychopathology. I help people heal from trauma, develop personally and build inner resilience. Professional background I am bilingual (English and German) with a focus on trauma-related stress. My work is characterised by compassion, professionalism, and an integrative understanding based on evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Processing Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). I offer ethical, ongoing clinical and risk assessments. I work with the mild, moderate, to severe range of the mental health spectrum. My treatment plan is tailored to each person's individual needs. Who I help. Adults aged 21 to 80 who face problems such as: • Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and complex post-traumatic stress disorder (C-PTSD) • Stressful interpersonal relationship challenges and attachment-related difficulties • Chronic anxiety, depression, panic and prolonged stress My perspective My experience includes growing up in West Africa, living in different countries and cultures, and working in customer-facing roles, healthcare, and the security sector. These experiences have strengthened my ability to work with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, stay calm in challenging situations, and be attentive to individual needs. My Approach: Mind, Body and Neuroscience I look at how patterns of inner chaos, rigidity or hyperarousal, numbness, or both can contribute to psychological distress and functional limitations. Together, we can explore how early attachment experiences, genetic factors, or neurobiological developmental processes might have shaped the inner world of the experience – promoting awareness, self-regulation, and acceptance. Safety first Healing happens at an individual pace. From the beginning, the focus is on practical techniques for self-regulation and grounding to develop a certain level of inner security, stability and scope. Perceive inner states in a differentiated way to develop resilience for balance, clarity and certainty. Collaborate with me.
