About me
In a world where a lot of things seem uncertain, one thing you should feel certain of is who you are: as a mother, a sibling, a child, a student, a human in the 21st Century. Through therapy with me, we address your changing identity, relationship with yourself and others, and what belonging means to you to find your place in the here and now so you can move forward as more confident and self assured, no matter what tomorrow may bring. I have experience of maternal mental health presentations, particularly perinatal anxiety and depression and complicated and enmeshed sibling relationships. I use a range of techniques of person centred but also CBT models to overcome negative thinking patterns and provide you a nonjudgemental space to process difficult thoughts without shame. If you have struggled with your changing identity as a mother, or the mental load that motherhood brings, or you feel you need support navigating the new chapter in your life, I am ready to listen.
