About me

My name is Jaquetta. I am a BACP Accredited Psychotherapist offering you a safe space to explore whatever it is that is troubling you whether that's anxiety, depression, loss, low confidence, self esteem, trauma or late-discovered neurodiversity. Life’s transitions, unspoken trauma, or a persistent sense of feeling "different" can leave you overwhelmed and disconnected. I provide a compassionate, judgment-free space to help you slow down, make sense of your experiences, and rebuild confidence. My specialist focus is working with anxiety, depression and personal growth. I frequently work with adults navigating late-discovered neurodiversity or exploring potential ADHD. While I don't offer formal diagnostic assessments, I specialise in helping you unpack a lifetime of feeling misunderstood, processing masking, burnout, and re-evaluating past struggles through an affirming, self-compassionate lens. I work integratively blending Person-Centred, Gestalt, and Existential foundations with evidence-based modalities tailored to you, such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) & Compassionate Inquiry, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Approaches. Whether you're processing loss, reshaping self-limiting beliefs, or trying to find direction, we will work collaboratively at a pace that feels right for you. Reaching out for support can feel daunting, but you don't need to have everything figured out before we speak. I offer online video or telephone sessions tailored to your schedule. I invite you to get in touch to arrange an initial session where we can discuss what you are looking for and see if we are a good fit to work together. This initial session is completely without obligation, it's simply an opportunity for us to meet and for you to see how it feels to work together and ensure you feel comfortable and supported. If you feel happy to move forward, we can then book a session the following week, continuing on a weekly basis. While I usually find that a minimum of six sessions provides a meaningful foundation, I work in an open ended way. This means we will always go entirely at your own pace, and our time together will come to a close whenever you feel ready.
