About me

Seeking therapy can feel like a significant step, and finding someone you feel comfortable with is an important part of that process. I believe meaningful therapy begins with a genuine human connection, where you feel heard, understood and accepted without judgement. My aim is to provide a safe, compassionate and collaborative space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences at your own pace. I am an MBACP Registered Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with an MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health. My work is grounded in a humanistic philosophy, recognising that every individual has the capacity for growth, resilience and change when offered the right therapeutic environment. Alongside this foundation, I integrate person-centred, psychodynamic, relational and Gestalt approaches, tailoring therapy to meet your unique needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. I also draw upon psychological research and neuroscience to help clients better understand the connection between their mind, body and emotional experiences. I work with adults and teenagers experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, trauma, grief and loss, low self-esteem, relationship and attachment difficulties, identity concerns, life transitions, cultural issues and emotional overwhelm. Whether you are navigating a recent crisis or have found yourself repeating familiar patterns for many years, therapy offers an opportunity to better understand yourself and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is warm, authentic and relational. I believe that the therapeutic relationship itself can be a powerful catalyst for healing. Together, we may explore how past experiences continue to influence your present, increase awareness of unhelpful patterns and develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others. Therapy is not about being told what to do; it is about working collaboratively to deepen self-understanding, strengthen emotional resilience and empower you to make choices that align with your values. I work in a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive and neurodiversity-affirming way, recognising that each person’s experiences are shaped by their relationships, culture, identity and environment. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and strive to create a space where diversity is respected and valued. I understand that beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, and I endeavour to ensure you feel supported throughout the process. Whatever has brought you to therapy, you do not have to face it alone. Together, we can create a space where you feel able to reflect, heal and reconnect with yourself, working towards greater clarity, self-compassion and emotional wellbeing.
