About me
Hello, I'm Stephen. I am a qualified CBT therapist and psychotherapist with a passion for helping people create meaningful, lasting change. I believe that when people feel genuinely understood, supported, and equipped with the right tools, they can overcome even the most difficult challenges. My approach combines evidence-based therapies with warmth, compassion, and authenticity. Every person is unique, so I tailor therapy to your individual needs, helping you better understand yourself, develop practical coping strategies, and build the confidence to move forward. I have a particular interest in working with ADHD, autism, anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, and couples. I also enjoy supporting teenagers and young adults as they navigate life's challenges and transitions. Alongside Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), I integrate psychotherapy and Relational Life Therapy principles where appropriate, helping clients explore both present-day difficulties and the deeper patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I am passionate about continual professional development and regularly undertake specialist training to ensure I provide the highest standard of care. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make positive changes at your own pace. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, navigating neurodiversity, experiencing relationship challenges, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I am here to support you with compassion, practical guidance, and evidence-based therapy.
