About me

We are all individuals with our own unique outlook on the world, and as an Integrative Counsellor, I use a tailored mix of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (challenging unhelpful thoughts and behaviours), Psychodynamic (understanding how past experiences might shape your present) and a Person-centred approach (with you in control), to find the best therapy for your specific needs. I work with a qualified supervisor to ensure best ethical practice, and engage in peer support for other creative approaches. I offer both short- and long-term therapy, with a free first consultation (30 mins), and will work with you either face-to-face or via phone or video call, which means no matter where you are in the country, we can work together. I have experience in working with domestic and sexual abuse, relationship issues, menopause and peri-menopause, anxiety, depression, physical illness, bereavement, concerns around diet and food, as well as the stress of just being a human being in these times. If you're feeling the lasting impact of adversity, we can spend time processing those feelings of vulnerability that can leave us unmoored in our present lives. Sometimes we just need a place to download.
