About me

I work in an integrative way, meaning that I draw on ideas and techniques from several therapeutic models in order to tailor the therapy to the particular needs and wants of each client. One approach does not fit all when it comes to effective therapy. My belief and experience about what really makes therapy work is the relationship between therapist and client. Almost all of our issues and pain are rooted in past and present relationships to others. Development and healing also happens in the context of relationship. We all require safety, understanding and acceptance in order to grow and flourish. I attempt to offer my clients a safe, accepting and attentive space so that they can explore, understand and accept themselves and their own needs. I work in a collaborative way with my clients. I see therapy as a joint endeavour between us in order to discover and work on whatever it is that is getting in the clients way of growth, fulfillment and joy.
