About me

“I don’t feel like my usual self, but I don’t really know why”. If you’ve tried all the normal things you do to lift your spirits and that feeling still isn't budging, then counselling will very likely be a good option. Sometimes difficulties from our past can pile up and need some sorting through so that they no longer cast such a shadow over the present. Talking through what’s currently going on in your life, as well as the past experiences that have shaped your world, can free you up to make the kinds of changes today that can help get you back on track. Facing down these issues isn’t always easy, but as you do so, things can often start to feel a little lighter. In our sessions together, we may wander into dark and difficult territory when necessary, but we'll also make plenty of room for hope, lightness, humour and joy when these emotions again surface. However bad you are currently feeling, rest assured that it will not always be so. Please come to see me and we can begin to piece together what has brought you to where you are now and what might help you start feeling better again.
