About me

About me and my therapy practice. Welcoming you into a counselling relationship, I offer acceptance, warmth, and care, along with a belief that our therapeutic space provides a private and confidential environment for you to explore your challenges and your desire for change. This can feel very unclear to begin with which is very normal. As our work progresses clarity and choice will emerge. Weekly is how I work. Counselling is most effective when you can commit to a regular session, as a consistent structure fosters a sense of safety in our work together. My clients also find that a regular focus on themselves encourages a different perspective that extends beyond our therapeutic sessions, which in turn supports their desire for change. Seeking therapy is a brave step, and finding a therapist you feel able to work with is the initial step. My fees start at £80 for any 50-minute therapy session. These sessions may be short-term or long-term, depending on the help and support you are seeking. Currently, my practice is available in person at my London Bridge practice room and online. Please email so we may arrange an initial session. I look forward to hearing from you. Practice description. My approach to working has attracted a diverse range of individuals who bring their own unique circumstances, challenges and questions for us to explore. This in turn invites me to include modes, ideas, and methodologies in our sessions that meet your needs; you are at the centre of our work, not a specific technique or approach. This is central to working as a Psychosynthesis Counsellor: recognising the individual within the context of their life and the wider world. My first session. Our first meeting is a 50-minute session. During this time, we meet, discuss how I may help you, see how I work, and decide next steps. Our time together focuses on what you are seeking therapy for and the support you are seeking. I will be interested in how you came to my practice and why you chose to do so now. Going forward. If we decide to work together, I will suggest we meet for 5-6 sessions to explore your needs more deeply. To begin exploring a broader picture of your life, I will ask about your family, significant events and relationships, preferences, and interests. I will also be eager to hear what you feel is important for me to know at this stage. We will then review. Regular reviews will occur as we go along to ensure your needs are being met.
