About me

About me and my therapy practice Seeking help isn't easy, and it is completely natural to have a lot of questions. Perhaps your search for answers online has taken you far, but applying all that data to yourself hasn’t brought lasting relief or change. I understand that. We can explore together everything that is troubling you—whether you are experiencing a major crisis or an increasing sense of dissatisfaction. Whether you are dealing with relationship difficulties, family struggles, life transitions, or an unsettling feeling of being lost and unable to cope, you do not have to carry it alone. My approach is to truly listen and understand what makes you tick, what values are most important to you right now, and to help you identify potential blocks or accelerators of change that you might not yet see. We work through this together, human to human. Because many life difficulties are worsened by past relationships, our collaborative efforts offer a space to gently soothe and repair those broader relational wounds. What we discover about you is uniquely shaped through our time together—no AI machine can replicate that deep, genuine human connection. Practice description I work with adults from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor our work entirely to your individual needs, circumstances, and goals. You are at the absolute centre of our work, not a rigid technique. As an integrative Psychosynthesis counsellor, I draw on a range of therapeutic perspectives to support you as a whole person. I see you as more than just your current difficulties or symptoms. I recognise the profound importance of understanding you within the context of your relationships, history, and wider life. I believe meaningful change occurs when you feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. My role is to recognise your unique individuality and support you in finding a meaningful way forward through conscious choices and actions, helping you feel truly empowered at the centre of your own life. My first session Our first session is a gentle opportunity for us to meet and explore what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your concerns, what you hope to gain from counselling, and see how it feels for us to work together. Many people feel nervous before their first session, which is completely natural. My role is to help you feel comfortable, safe, and supported as we begin. Let’s arrange an initial session so we can discuss how I can best support you and decide on our next steps. Please email me to book this first appointment, and we will take it from there.
