I have a special interest in working with late diagnosed neurodivergent adults (autism/ADHD/AuDHD) or if you are questioning your neurodivergent identity. From my own lived experience, I strongly relate to people who have felt misunderstood and experienced difficulties with fitting in with others. You may be hiding your struggles behind a mask which can be exhausting to maintain in the long term. Now might be the time to slow down and reconnect with your authentic self. We will use Transactional Analysis (TA) to explore negative beliefs created unconsciously from your early life experiences. TA also includes a number of simple yet powerful models to interpret communication with others and identify unhelpful relationship patterns. Our work will be underpinned by connection and collaboration. As a trainee therapist, I offer longer term work to allow a comfortable pace - there are no quick fixes with mental health and I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is vital for effective work with clients.
