About me
Sometimes life can be difficult to make sense of. You might be carrying something heavy, feeling stuck in patterns you can't shift, or simply not recognising yourself anymore. Whatever has brought you here, reaching out is the first move towards change. I am a therapist with over a decade of experience supporting individuals through some of life's most challenging moments. In that time I have worked with people navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, burnout, relationship difficulties, grief, eating disorders, OCD, addiction, health anxiety, phobias, neurodiversity and issues around self-esteem and identity. What I have found, consistently, is that the presenting issue is rarely the whole story. My job is to help you make sense of yours. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. People are too complex for that, and your experience deserves more than a formula. From the very beginning, your therapeutic process is shaped by you, your pace, your needs and what feels right for you. At the heart of how I work is the relationship we build together. Research consistently points to the therapeutic relationship as one of the strongest indicators of meaningful change, and I take that seriously. I work to create a space that is honest, safe and free of judgement, somewhere you can say the things you have not been able to say elsewhere. My practice draws on a range of established, evidence-based approaches, integrating psychosynthesis, CBT, Gestalt, IFS, breathwork and somatic practices. This means I can work with your thinking, your emotions and your body, meeting you at whichever level feels most useful at any given point. Some sessions are deeply exploratory. Others are practical and focused. Most are somewhere in between, and that is shaped by what you bring through the door. I work with a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, trauma, depression, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, work stress, eating disorders, OCD, phobias, addiction, health anxiety, neurodiversity and self-esteem. I also work with people who are not in crisis but feel a quiet sense that something is off, that they are not living the life they want, or that old patterns keep pulling them back. That is just as valid a reason to be here. If you are curious about whether therapy might help, or whether I might be the right fit, I offer a free 15-minute consultation. There is no obligation and no pressure. It is simply a chance to connect, ask questions and get a feel for whether working together makes sense. You are welcome to get in touch by email or phone. I look forward to hearing from you.
