About me
I have experience working with clients navigating anxiety, low self-worth, relational difficulties, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, identity questions, and the lasting impact of trauma or early attachment wounds. I am particularly interested in supporting those who have learned to cope by pushing through, staying busy, or disconnecting from deeper feelings, and who now wish to slow down, understand themselves more fully, and relate to themselves with greater compassion. I offer a relational, embodied, and trauma-informed approach to therapy, grounded in collaboration, choice, and careful pacing. I aim to create a space where you can feel met, heard, and supported, and where all parts of you are welcome. Alongside verbal exploration, I pay attention to what may be happening in the body and nervous system, and may gently invite awareness of sensations, breath, or movement where helpful. This can support greater grounding, regulation, and connection to yourself in the present moment. I further pay attention to what may be unfolding in the dynamic between us as often therapy acts as a mirror of other relationships in our life and can offer a reparative experience of those when worked through. I also work creatively with imagery and inner parts work to help access feelings and experiences that may have been pushed aside or are difficult to reach through words alone. I am especially drawn to supporting those who have struggled with a sense of not fully belonging, including people with mixed or cross-cultural backgrounds, immigration experiences, neurodivergence, or those who have often felt outside prescribed boxes because of their sensitivity, intuition, or creativity. My approach is shaped not only by professional training, but also by my own lived experience as an immigrant and within a cross-cultural relationship. This has deepened my understanding of identity, belonging, and the complexity of finding one’s place. I welcome people from all walks of life and have worked with many neurodivergent clients and those from multicultural backgrounds. Together, therapy can become a space for deeper self-understanding, emotional processing, and reconnection with your authentic self.
