About me

You may have built a stable life on the outside, but find it difficult to enjoy the things you have. This can show up as a loud inner critic, anxiety, and burnout, which may make you feel exhausted while it seems impossible to switch off. With all the noise in your head, it can be difficult to make space for your own deeper needs and for unprocessed emotions from the past. You may long for feeling more at peace with yourself, find inner clarity and balance, or develop more nurturing relationships. You may also feel wish to find more meaning and joy in your life. Often, we find ourselves stuck in survival mechanisms—such as pleasing, hyper-focusing on work, perfectionism, overthinking, or constant busyness and distraction. These might have once been adaptive ways of coping that helped us overcome or escape challenging environments, but over time they can become a form of self-neglect. Often this stems from childhood experiences in which we were loved conditionally, constantly criticised, or even abused or neglected. This means our basic needs for safety and connection weren't met. Sometimes this can also involve external stressors such as loss, separation, political instability, or financial struggles in early or later life. ----------- MY APPROACH My work is grounded in Psychosynthesis, which is a relational, holistic approach valuing you as a multi-layered, complex human who has the innate capacity and wisdom to live a meaningful, fulfilling life with the right support. My aim is to help you get to know and integrate the inner parts of you that might be at war: the ones that have got you this far, the ones that have been neglected, and the ones that hold a deeper wisdom and knowing. Many of the people I work with understand their patterns cognitively, yet found that something still did not shift. My approach moves beyond just "talking about" problems to working with the felt experience. I find this approach particularly relevant for anyone stuck in survival mode and who has a curiosity and longing to meet themselves more compassionately and fully. It is also deeply relevant for those from mixed backgrounds, expats, and immigrants. When you live between different worlds, cultures, or expectations, the challenge is often to find a sense of "home" and identity within yourself while honoring all the different parts of who you are. As an expat living in a cross-cultural relationship myself, I bring my own lived experience into the work. I offer a relational, embodied, and trauma-informed approach, grounded in collaboration and careful pacing. Together we build your capacity to be with what is difficult by also paying attention to what happens internally in the moment. Often, when we include our senses and pay attention to shifts in breathing, energy, speech, or posture, we can get in touch with the deeper layers of our experience. Paying attention to our bodily sensations can give us a felt experience of what resources and nourishes us as well as what feels safe. It equally shows us where things have been neglected or pushed aside. By working directly with the nervous system, we can begin to reach deeper emotional layers and move out of survival states—such as shutdown, numbness, or chronic hyper-vigilance—and towards greater grounding, boundaries, and aliveness. I also offer creative tools for exploration—such as imagery and objects like stones, wooden figures, or clay—as a bridge between the inner and outer world. These tools can help access the more unconscious layers of your experience and often offer a different perspective that words alone cannot reach. It is my priority to meet you where you are and to make sure you don't get overwhelmed in the sessions and feel respected. Therefore, embodied and creative work will always be introduced in a respectful, sensitive way and only be worked with to the level you are comfortable and ready. My aim is to create a safe, warm atmosphere where you can share what feels important without being pushed. Together, therapy can become a space for deeper self-understanding, truthfulness, and feeling more accepting and at peace with yourself. ------------------- SESSIONS & GETTING STARTED I work with adults and teenagers (16+) online and in London Bridge. I offer a free initial call to discuss your needs and to give you a first impression of how I work. It is a chance to see whether I am the right person to support you and whether you feel comfortable working with me. If you decide to begin therapy, we will start with an introductory assessment session in which I will ask about your current situation, your upbringing, and other experiences that have shaped your life. These early conversations are opportunities for us to get to know each other without any further commitment. If you then wish to continue, we can agree on a set number of sessions or move into an open-ended arrangement. If any of this resonates, you can reach out via email or book an initial call to see whether it might be right for us to work together. I look forward to hearing from you.
