About me

From the outside, people think you are coping. Inside, your mind never stops, your body feels constantly on the edge and even small things take all your energy. You can feel "fine" one moment and drowning in emotions the next, and you are tired of carrying it all on your own. Maybe life has thrown you more at you than you can carry, and you are wondering why you are not "over it" yet. Or maybe the stress never ends and you wonder if life ever feels normal again. And you decide it's time for therapy. Things start to change when we work together. Over time, your thoughts slow down. Your body starts to feel less on-edge. Moments of ease and glimmers of joy start to appear. Your emotions, which once felt like white water rafting, now feel like a gentle rowing boat. Therapy with me is a space you don't need to pretend and every emotion is welcome. You set the pace, and if you don't know where to start, that's OK- we work it out together. Together, we explore with kindness and curiosity how your thoughts and behaviour have been shaped by what you have lived through, and how this now affects your current functioning. Alongside, we can use safe and Sound Protocol. a gentle music based approach that helps your nervous system shift out of constant fight /flight until you body starts to feel different. You start feeling less on edge, your emotions are less extreme, a softer and steadier sense of "I am OK" appears. You have more capacity for rest, connections and everyday life. My approach is warm and grounded, and my aim is not just help you to cope with symptoms, but helping you to find a clear mind so that you can see a way forward so that your whole life feels easier
