About me
Together, we'll find the best approach for our collaboration, making sure you feel truly heard and supported every step of the way. Whether you're interested in addressing current issues or digging into deeper patterns and origins, I'm here to guide and support you. If we decide on CBT, it’s typically a shorter process, but I also offer a range of modalities—psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and integrative therapy—to thoughtfully match what works best for you. Psychodynamic therapy helps uncover unconscious conflicts, defense mechanisms, and desires that can influence how we think, feel, or act. Through open dialogue and gentle reflection, patterns often surface that connect back to past experiences. The supportive therapeutic relationship is essential in this journey, allowing us to understand unresolved conflicts in our relationships more deeply. This caring approach encourages meaningful self-reflection and promotes a better understanding of ourselves. Cognitive behaviour therapy looks at how your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected based on what you're going through right now. First, you’ll learn about the research that supports your experiences, helping you understand what might be influencing your thoughts and behaviors. Then, you'll work together to identify the factors that keep your issues going. Finally, a personalized and collaborative plan is created to help you make positive changes in each part of your experience. Remember, this journey requires your commitment both during the sessions and outside of them, but together, you can make meaningful progress. Through these pathways, clients often find support and guidance through yoga therapy, mindfulness, art therapy, thought reframing, behavioural experiments, or counselling, all aimed at helping them reach their therapeutic goals. You might decide to start with just one approach or maybe combine both. Either way, what's most important is the connection you build with your therapist and the trust you develop in the journey.
