About me
I am an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor offering a calm and confidential space for adults to reflect on their experiences and navigate periods of change in their lives. Life does not always unfold as we expect. Many people come to therapy when something has shifted — a relationship change, bereavement, career transition, illness, or a growing sense that something in life no longer feels quite right. At other times there may not be a single clear reason, but a feeling of being overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of the direction ahead. Therapy provides an opportunity to pause and explore what is happening in a thoughtful and supportive environment. Together we can begin to understand the patterns, emotions and experiences that shape your life, helping you reconnect with yourself and move forward with greater clarity. I work with adults experiencing a range of life changes and challenges, including relationship difficulties, family dynamics, work stress and career transitions, grief and loss, questions of identity and purpose, and adapting to illness or caring responsibilities. I offer in-person therapy in Welwyn, Hertfordshire, as well as online and telephone sessions for clients across the UK.

Training and qualifications
I am a professional psychotherapist and counsellor and an accredited registrant of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS Acc.), working in accordance with their ethical framework. My training includes: RQF Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling RQF Level 4 Diploma in Counselling Skills & Theory RQF Level 3 Diploma in Introduction to Counselling I am currently undertaking further professional training including: RQF Level 6 Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Research Postgraduate specialist training in grief and loss. My therapeutic approach is integrative and pluralistic, meaning I draw on several therapeutic models including person-centred, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). This allows the work to be shaped around the individual needs of each client rather than relying on a single fixed approach. Alongside my private practice, I volunteer as a counsellor within a local hospice setting and with a crisis helpline, supporting individuals experiencing grief, emotional distress and periods of significant vulnerability. I also undertake regular continuing professional development (CPD) and specialist training to ensure my practice remains informed by current research and evolving therapeutic understanding. At the heart of my work is the belief that therapy is most effective when it takes place within a genuine, respectful and collaborative relationship. Each person’s experience is unique, and there is no single right way of understanding or working with the difficulties someone brings to therapy. My role is not to tell you how to live your life, but to offer a thoughtful space where you can explore your experiences openly and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. Clients often find that through this process they begin to recognise patterns in their lives, reconnect with their own strengths, and feel more able to navigate the changes they are facing.
