About me

I work with individuals and couples who may be experiencing emotional distress, relationship difficulties or patterns of behaviour that feel difficult to change. People often seek therapy when they feel overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, or challenges in their personal or professional lives. Therapy provides an opportunity to step back, reflect and explore these experiences in a confidential and supportive environment. Alongside general psychotherapy, I have particular experience working with addiction, including alcohol and drug misuse, compulsive sexual behaviour and pornography addiction. I also work with psychosexual concerns and offer couples therapy for partners experiencing difficulties with trust, communication or intimacy. My approach is thoughtful, engaged and collaborative, and is influenced by my own eventful life experiences, which, I believe, gives me a greater sense of a deeper understanding of the patterns that may be influencing your behaviour, relationships and emotional responses. Through this process, therapy can support you in developing greater self-awareness, confidence and the ability to make positive and lasting changes in your life.
