About me

I am a qualified, experienced Integrative Counsellor working in a range of settings such as an NHS GP surgery, bereavement service and trauma service. I am passionate about tailoring my sessions to meet your needs by drawing on established theoretical approaches that enhance the therapeutic relationship such as person-centred, gestalt, psychodynamic and solution-focused. My approach is rooted in my commitment to ensuring that you feel safe and truly heard in space where you are able to address any trauma or other complex emotional issues you may be facing. We will gently explore your emotional world, your connections and your concerns; often delving into some deeper relational attachment issues and your early childhood experiences. Therapy can however often involve humour where you are able to reflect and rationalise some of the troubles that you are facing. Many of the clients that I support say that reaching out for help was the hardest part and I invite you get in touch for a free confidential introducory phone call.
