About me
I am a psychotherapist, accredited by The British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). I have a passion for helping individuals navigate their emotional and psychological challenges through the transformative power of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Before I began working as a CBT therapist, I spent several years working in hospitality. Being in such a people-focused role taught me a lot about human behaviour, resilience, and connection. It also helped me appreciate how stress, confidence, and mental wellbeing affect us all. During that time, I experienced my own struggles with anxiety. It was a difficult period, and for a long time I tried to manage on my own — but eventually, I reached out for help and started Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). That decision changed my life. Through CBT, I began to understand how my thoughts, feelings, and behaviours were connected, and I learned practical ways to manage my anxiety. The process gave me not only the tools to cope, but also a real sense of hope and confidence in myself again. My experience inspired me to study psychology and go on to train in CBT, so that I could help others in the same way I was helped. I know how daunting it can feel to reach out for support, and how important it is to feel heard, understood, and safe. In my practice, I aim to offer a warm, compassionate space where you can talk openly and begin to make sense of what you’re going through. Together, we’ll work towards helping you feel more in control, more confident, and more like you again. I hold a Masters degree in Psychology and have engaged in professional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; I’m also a member of the BABCP (British Association for Behavioural & Cognitive Psychotherapies). I work with adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, and stress. My approach is gentle, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s individual needs — because no two journeys are ever the same. Thank you for visiting my profile. I look forward to the opportunity to work together and support you on your journey to emotional well-being.
