About me

As no two people are alike, we all need different things from therapy. Because of this, I use an integrative approach to counselling. As an integrative therapist, I have been trained in a variety of approaches to counselling, which means that our sessions can be very flexible, tailored to what you need at any time. I have experience working with a variety of issues, and take a non-judgemental approach. You can feel safe that I will not be shocked by anything you wish to discuss, and that everything you tell me will remain confidential. During sessions, I place focus on building a relationship with you. The relationship between client and therapist is the foundation upon which productive work is built. It is important that you feel safe and comfortable in sessions with me, so I make this a priority. Our first session is a chance for us to see if we are a good fit working together longer-term. During this session, I will ask you some questions about your personal history, any previous counselling experience and what brings you to therapy today. You will also have the chance to tell me any you think is important for me to know about you before we start working together. After this, you will have a few days to decide whether you want to continue or not. Please feel free to reach out if you'd like to book an introductory session, or if you'd just like more information about me or the way I practice.
