About me
I’m an integrative counsellor offering a warm, thoughtful, and neuro-affirming approach to therapy. My work is grounded in person-centred counselling, meaning I place the relationship at the heart of our work and aim to offer a space where you feel heard, respected, and understood. I draw on CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Compassion-Focused Therapy alongside my person-centred foundation, adapting how we work to suit you as an individual. Some people come to therapy wanting space to reflect and make sense of their experiences, while others are looking for more structure or practical tools. I work responsively, respecting that different people need different things at different times. Where helpful, I may also incorporate mindfulness, breathwork, or reflective exercises to support self-awareness and emotional regulation. These are always offered collaboratively and at a pace that feels right for you. I have experience supporting adults with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, burnout, trauma, addiction, and relationship difficulties. I also have particular experience working with ADHD and autistic adults, including those exploring neurodivergence later in life. I’m AuDHD myself, and I bring both lived and professional understanding to my work. I don’t see therapy as fixing you — you are not something that needs to be fixed. Therapy can be a space to build understanding, self-acceptance, and compassion for yourself, and to explore how to work with yourself and how your mind works rather than against it. I currently offer online sessions across the UK, as well as in-person counselling in Buntingford, with the potential for in-person work in Ware.

Training and qualifications
I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor and a registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). My core training is in person-centred counselling, with additional training and ongoing professional development in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT). I have over five years’ professional experience working in mental health settings, supporting adults with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. My background includes work with complex needs, trauma, and addiction, alongside anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relational difficulties. I am committed to ongoing learning and reflective practice, and I regularly engage in supervision and continued professional development to support ethical, thoughtful, and effective work with clients. I have particular experience and interest in working with ADHD and autistic adults, including those exploring neurodivergence later in life. I work in a neuro-affirming way, supporting clients to better understand themselves and to work with how their minds function, rather than against them. Alongside neurodivergence, I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, addiction, low self-esteem, identity-related concerns, and relationship difficulties. I’m especially interested in themes of self-acceptance, emotional regulation, masking, shame, and developing compassionate ways of relating to oneself. I also offer group work, including groups for ADHD adults, providing a supportive space for shared understanding, connection, and learning.
