Stand Down is a new, independent military charity which provides online psychological help and support to active duty personnel and their families, as well as to veterans, who suffer from any mental health condition, directly or indirectly, as a result of military service.
The online service is confidential and offers immediate low-level intervention and vital trauma support to its users, from qualified, regulated and highly experienced mental health practitioners. Stand Down encourages those who are reluctant or unable to access therapy easily, such as the physically injured, those with young families and active duty personnel reluctant to approach their employer, to seek help.
