Peter Lindley was found as a toddler on a street in South London, towards the end of the 2nd World War. After three years in care, he was fostered for the rest of his childhood. He went on to have a successful career in television as a documentary editor, and to have a happy family life. In middle-age, he decided to make a search into his background as a foundling. Therapy was helpful in re-uniting him with that small child.
