Amy Lord

Amy Lord makes original multi-textured and layered encounters, experiences and spaces; mixing installation, media forms and craft. Her work explores what connects us as human beings and has fun in blurring the lines between reality and art. Her artworks engage people in unusual ways - from a one-on-one meeting to a chanced-upon interactive installation. She has presented work at Battersea Arts Centre, The Late Shows Newcastle, Shoreditch Town Hall, Queen's Hall Hexham, Rich Mix, Whitstable Biennale Satellite and on the streets of Manhattan via Art in Odd Places. She has been commissioned by NewcastleGateshead Initiative, Juice Festival, bait and The Empty Space, and is a Freelance Artist with BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art. www.amy-lord.com
