About me
Hello, I’m Viviane, an accredited psychotherapist offering individual therapy and group facilitation both in central London and internationally online. I work in English, German, French, Spanish, and Serbian/Bosnian/Croatian. Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, confusing, or even unbearable, leaving us anxious, low, or stuck. Maybe you’ve been coping so far, but now things feel overwhelming. Each person who enters therapy has a unique story, with their own strengths and challenges. The starting point is to come as we are. Therapy offers a space to explore where you are now and where you want to go from here, whether you are dealing with a specific issue or would like to explore your existence in a broader sense. How Can I Help- I offer short-term up to 12 sessions and open-ended therapy. My integrative approach draws from different therapeutic models, adapting to each client’s unique needs. I can support you with various challenges, such as: • Stress, anxiety, and overwhelm • Depression and low mood • Loneliness and isolation • Anger issues • Loss and bereavement • Relationship difficulties personal, work, or with yourself • Challenges adjusting to a new country or returning home • Exploration of cultural heritage • Childhood or adult abuse and trauma • Family challenges • Separation and divorce • Social anxiety and feelings of inadequacy • Work stress and burnout • Low confidence or self-esteem • Life transitions, such as becoming a parent • Existential concerns and personal development I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can express yourself freely. Therapy with me is client-led—you set the agenda, pace and topics of discussion. I work from the belief that you are the expert in your life, and my role is to support you with kindness in growing confidence and insight. I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures. If you’re curious to find out more, just drop me an email and we can arrange a free introductory call. A bit more about myself My personal experiences of migration, motherhood, and family history have made me open and empathic to ways of seeing and perceiving the world. I have worked with individuals across various settings, including schools, universities, community organisations, and the private sector, allowing me to develop a holistic understanding of human distress. Currently, I work in private practice in central London internationally online and for a refugee organisation in South London, as well as being a member of a mental health assessment team in North London. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in career coaching, particularly with expats and migrants, and in HR. Growing up in a multi-racial and multi-cultural family and my background in languages and international development have deepened my curiosity about the intersection of heritage and mental health. This informs my practice in intercultural therapy and commitment to therapy for social change. Personal Development Coaching I also provide personal development coaching for individuals who are in a good place emotionally but feel unsatisfied with certain aspects of their life. If you are seeking clarity or know what area you want to improve, coaching can help you identify where change would be most beneficial. My approach to coaching is therapeutic, focusing not just on achieving goals but on fostering lasting personal transformation. Together, we will explore your vision of success, identify obstacles, and develop a tailored plan to achieve meaningful progress. Coaching topics include personal empowerment, self-esteem, boundaries, communication skills, and career development. Enquire about packages and blocks of sessions. Memberships & Registration I am an accredited member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy UKCP and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy BACP . I adhere to their ethical guidelines, and my work is fully insured and professionally supervised.
