About me
Maybe you’re feeling stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand - anxious, overwhelmed, confused, low, or not quite like yourself. Together, we can explore how these feelings have developed and what they might be trying to tell you. In our sessions, there’s space to explore your experiences and talk through whatever feels difficult. We’ll look together at the challenges you bring, often reflecting on past experiences and how they may be shaping things now. I work with sensitivity and care, staying grounded as we move through messy or painful parts. I believe therapy can deepen self-understanding, support emotional growth and open up new possibilities for the future. I aim to create a space that feels thoughtful, supportive and grounded, where you don’t have to have everything figured out. I offer one-to-one therapy for adults, either in person in Central London or online. You might be seeking therapy because you’re struggling in relationships, navigating change, questioning your identity, or affected by anxiety, low self-esteem, abuse, loss, depression or bereavement. These are experiences I regularly work with, and we can explore what’s going on for you at your own pace. Before training as a therapist, I spent over 20 years working in human resources and organisational psychology, including at Director level. This gives me a strong understanding of the pressures of professional life and how they can impact wellbeing and sense of self. Alongside my private practice, I work as a student counsellor at the University of East London and with a voluntary charity organisation, bringing breadth and depth to my clinical experience.

Training and qualifications
I am a pre-accredited Psychotherapist with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), studying in a 5 year MSc programme in Integrative Psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute. I hold a Certificate in Therapeutic Skills & Studies from the Metanoia Institute. Alongside my private practice, I work as an associate counsellor for UEL, offering short term counselling to students. Prior to beginning my private practice, I worked as a trainee counsellor/psychotherapist for three years with both short term clients at the University of East London and long term clients at MCPS and EACS. These services are based in London and offers low cost counselling to anyone living in Greater London. In terms of my career prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I have worked in industry for over twenty years as an Occupational Psychologist/ HR Director. I hold an MSc in Occupational Psychology (Goldsmiths, University of London), and an MA in International Relations and Psychology (University of St Andrews). This experience has meant I have an understanding of the pressures of working in a fast paced and stressful environment.
