Sylwia Kowalska-Lewis
Psychoanalytic psychotherapistAbout Me
My name is Sylwia Kowalska-Lewis. I am a psychotherapist based in London.
Life can be tough at times, and it can be difficult to know how to cope when our thoughts and feelings overwhelm us, whether that’s due to stress or anxiety caused by work or relationships, loss, childhood trauma or any number of other experiences that make up our lives.
In therapy, where you can talk freely in a safe, non-judgemental space, we can gain insights into why these thoughts and feelings persist and together, we will navigate the complexities of your inner self, bringing about a transformation that will allow you to lead a happier, healthier life.
I offer face to face and online sessions. If you need somebody to talk to, contact me to arrange an initial session.

Fees
My standard fee is £60 per session (50 minutes) and £90 for the initial consultation (1.5 hour). However, I might be able to offer reduced therapy fees, particularly if you are interested in a higher frequency of session, or if you are on a low income.
Training and qualifications
I have spent 9 years studying Jungian psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and have worked within a range of clinical settings, including the NHS, charities and private practice. I have professional experience of placements at closed psychiatric units and offender’s institution.
Currently, I split my time between secondary care service within the South London and Maudsley (SLAM) NHS Trust and private practice.
