Psychoanalytic psychotherapistAbout Me
Many of us, at some point, get the feeling that something about our life is not going well. We realise that we need to do something, even though we may not know exactly what steps to take or how to find help. This is where therapy, which is simply a dialogue between two people, can help. This is where our suffering can be used as the impetus and the road map to our healing.
My work is grounded in Jungian ideas, centred on the activity of the unconscious. As such, it is undogmatic and non-prescriptive. It encourages creative engagement with our inner world.
I believe that symptoms (emotional as well as physical) have meaning and that the work we do in therapy can facilitate more rewarding relationships with oneself, other people, in one’s work, and can be the prelude to a more meaningful life.
I care deeply about the work I do, and you are welcome to get in touch to arrange an initial session.
