Psychodynamic psychotherapistAbout Me
At times life can feel like a struggle and can make us feel stressed, anxious or depressed. Often these feelings will impact on many different aspects of our lives, for example our relationships, work or simply our ability to enjoy things. It may be that we understand why such feelings have arisen - perhaps someone close to us has died or there are problems within our closest relationships or wider family issues. Often, it is not clear why we feel low, we just know that ‘something is not right’ and it may be that we have been feeling like that for a long time. Under these circumstances it is not uncommon to feel isolated and alone.
Whatever the reason may be for seeking help, I offer a space to explore these difficulties and feelings together, thinking about why feelings have arisen and how we might make constructive changes to improve things.
I am an experienced psychodynamic psychotherapist offering both short and longer term therapy and counselling. I am based in Hammersmith, West London (3 mins walk from Ravenscourt Park underground station and 8 mins walk from Hammersmith underground station).
In addition to my private practice, I work in a voluntary capacity for MacMillan Cancer Support. I am experienced in working closely with people who are living with cancer, at whichever stage of their journey they may be at. I also support those who are close to someone who has cancer.
