About me
I offer a calm, confidential space where you can be heard, fully and without judgment. My role is to listen carefully, to help you make sense of what’s troubling you, and to gently explore the thoughts, feelings, and patterns that shape your experience of life. For many people, therapy is not just about fixing problems on the surface, but about understanding the deeper threads that run through our relationships, sense of self, and emotional life. It’s a space where you can be curious about yourself and where lasting change becomes possible. You might be struggling with a persistent sense of not being good enough, holding yourself to punishing standards, or finding it far easier to be kind to others than to yourself. Perhaps you feel unsure of who you are beneath the roles you’ve learned to inhabit: the capable one, the helper, the high-achiever. Or you might notice recurring patterns in relationships, leaving you feeling unheard, frustrated, or depleted. Whatever you’re carrying, whether it has a clear name or not, therapy offers a space to reflect, process, and begin to heal. My approach is grounded in three broad perspectives: Psychodynamic – We’ll explore how your past experiences and relationships inform your present feelings and actions. By understanding these causes and effects, you’ll navigate current challenges with greater consciousness and insight. Trauma-informed – I provide a safe, understanding space to talk about early adverse experiences. We’ll go at your pace, helping you feel more grounded and able to remain safely in the present. Existential – We can think together about deeper questions, such as what gives you a reason to live, how to find gratitude even in adversity, and what it means for you to be alive. Therapy with me is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to you. Some clients come with clear issues they want to work through; others come with a sense of unease or stuckness they can’t quite name. However it begins, it’s a space we create together. I work in person in North London (N19), usually weekly, on a short- or longer-term basis. I may be able to offer occasional online sessions when needed.
