About me

Feeling anxious, stressed, or depressed? Battling with unprocessed trauma? Having a hard time with relationships? If you are ready to make the changes required to feel happier, lighter, and in charge of your life once more, you have come to the right place. As a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Integrative Psychologist since 2001, I have helped numerous individuals achieve the positive changes needed to overcome a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. It would be a privilege to help you find your way to a better place too. A warm and authentic therapy relationship is crucial to client success. I treat every client with the utmost care and respect, providing you with a non-judgmental space where you can feel safe, heard, and understood. Whether you are dealing with childhood problems, obsessive thoughts, procrastination, or panic attacks, I am passionate about tailoring my services to your personal circumstances because I believe we are all unique individuals with different needs and preferences. To this end, I draw from a wide pool of different therapeutic approaches to find the best possible match for your unique situation and requirements, including Internal Family Systems, Emotional Freedom Technique, Eriksonian Hypnotherapy, Gestalt, Focusing, NLP, and Somatic Experiencing. Hypnosis is a natural, very safe state which we all experience on a daily basis, for example when performing a task such as driving a car on ‘autopilot’ or in the twilight zone between sleep and awakeness. Effective hypnosis is a collaborative state of awareness created by the therapist and the client where the client maintains complete control. This creative, resourceful state can be a very powerful tool in maximizing the effects of any particular therapeutic approach chosen and speeding up the recovery process. I actively encourage client independence and endeavour to help you achieve the changes that you wish for as quickly and efficiently as possible. For therapy to be effective, it is essential that the therapist has up-to-date skills and knowledge to ensure that you can benefit from the most cutting-edge thinking in the field. I take continuing professional development very seriously and regularly attend national and international workshops and seminars to create the most effective therapy solutions matched to your needs. I hold memberships with the Finnish Psychological Society, the National Society for Talking Therapies, the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council, and the National Hypnotherapy Society. Ready to turn over a new leaf in your life? Please get in touch for a free, no-obligation 15-minute consultation either via phone or Zoom. I look forward to hearing from you.
