About me
Do persistent thoughts hold you back, even when you know better? Are you your own harshest critic, overlooking the strengths and achievements you deserve to celebrate? Have you ever put everything into making a change, only to find yourself slipping back into the same old patterns of thought, behaviour or relationship dynamics? Perhaps you feel trapped by low self-confidence, stuck in draining connections, or at odds with your self-image, whether financially, emotionally, physically, spiritually or socially, no matter how many goals you set or coaching sessions you attend. Wherever you find yourself on this spectrum, I’m here to help. My name is Sabbir, and I am a Harley Street-based psychotherapist and therapeutic coach working in both the NHS and in private practice. I am here to guide you through your current challenges, exploring the reasons why you may face them. Together, we can then work towards a plan of action, explore why these patterns arise, set clear goals, and carry forward change beyond therapy. Using evidence-based psychotherapy methods, including CBT, DBT, psychodynamic exploration and insights from neuroscience, I’ll help you to untangle the roots of your challenges in a safe, supportive space. Some clients prefer deeper therapeutic work, while others thrive on the energising, goal-oriented pace of coaching; however, many find the most growth comes from an integrated approach. When you’re ready to move forward, you can choose a goal-driven coaching style, clarifying what you truly want, mapping out practical steps and holding you accountable as your confidence and clarity grow. Whatever challenges you face, I’ll shape our sessions around you, turning obstacles into opportunities for lasting change and resilience. Prior to my NHS role, I trained in psychotherapy at the Tavistock & Portman Trust and studied CBT at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King’s College London. Today, I draw upon that rigorous foundation, alongside years of clinical experience, to guide you with compassion, curiosity and a commitment to your growth. I invite you to share your story in a compassionate, nonjudgemental space where therapy meets coaching.
