About Me

Hello and thank you for visiting my profile.  Trying to navigate life in these uncertain times can be difficult. Are you are feeling anxious or uncertain about the future right now? Do you feel a bit stuck or fed up? Is self-criticism the internal talk you are most familiar with? Maybe feeling ashamed of past life experiences is stopping you from moving on and living in the present. The demands of modern life are often very fast-paced and sometimes we need additional help to stay true to who we are and what we would like from life. Therapy offers you an opportunity to work on reducing unnecessary stress so you can feel more content and less troubled.

I am here to listen to your story. I help individual's overcome anxiety (health, social, OCD, GAD), build self-confidence, improve low mood and deal with stress/burnout. I can help you identify unhelpful thinking patterns, teach you how to challenge this thinking, and work with you to learn better coping skills enabling you to deal with current struggles.

A qualified and experienced CBT therapist, I specialise in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT). This therapy is grounded in the idea that people generally want to do well in life, however, sometimes irrational or unhelpful thinking can get in the way and stop us from achieving our goals. With this in mind, REBT is a practical and action-orientated approach to dealing with cognitive, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

As you learn new techniques to help you work through any distress you may have, you will find ways of being able to do more of the things you like. If you are interested in therapy with me, I offer a free 15-minute call so we can introduce ourselves and to see if the way I work fits with what you are looking for. I look forward to hearing from you.
