About me

I specialise in working with Millennials and Gen Z clients, in particular Creatives, and the Queer community. I’m a somatic trauma specialist known for my deep empathy. I have a strong interest in the mind–body connection, and in how emotional experiences are held not only in our thoughts, but throughout the body. I understand that deciding to come to therapy, and finding the right therapist, can feel daunting. My aim is to make this process as gentle and accessible as possible. I offer a free initial 30-minute session so you can test the waters and see whether I feel like the right fit for you. I work with warmth and compassion, offering a confidential space where you can share at your own pace. I’ll never push you to talk about anything before you’re ready; instead, I’ll stay alongside you, supporting you to unfold your feelings in whatever way feels safest. My Therapeutic Approach... I’m an integrative therapist, drawing from a range of approaches so therapy can be tailored to your individual needs. My grounding is in person-centred philosophy, trusting your inner sense of direction and capacity for growth. I also draw on psychodynamic ideas, exploring how early relationships and attachment patterns can shape how we relate to ourselves and others. My trauma work integrates somatic, gestalt, and inner-child approaches, supporting the release of shame and the healing of developmental wounds. I’ve trained with world renowned somatic trauma specialist Babette Rothschild, and my work is informed by longstanding and contemporary trauma research. Alongside my clinical training, I bring over 15 years of experience in the creative industries, having worked as a performer before retraining as a psychotherapist. Creativity is central to my practice, and I often work with imagery, metaphor, and embodied awareness to deepen insight. I have particular experience supporting creatives and freelancers, and understand the challenges of uncertainty, self-doubt, creative blocks, and blurred work–life boundaries. I am a GSRD-affirmative therapist with extensive experience working with LGBTQIA+ clients, and I offer concessions where possible to help make therapy more accessible.
