About me

Hello, I’m Nova, an online CBT therapist with lived experience of OCD and anxiety. I understand how draining it is when intrusive thoughts loop endlessly, pushing you to check, seek reassurance, or avoid certain situations in an attempt to relieve fear, guilt, or uncertainty. OCD often latches onto what you value most, which can make it feel even more distressing. Because I’ve been through this myself, I know how convincing and overwhelming it can feel. In our sessions, I offer a compassionate, collaborative space grounded in empathy and understanding. Reaching out can feel tough, especially if your experience is hard to put into words or has been misunderstood before. Therapy starts with your reality, focusing on helping you move toward a life that feels more open and authentic. Use the website link to book a free 15-minute consultation. I provide online CBT, ERP, and ACT for a range of concerns, including Pure O, harm OCD, contamination OCD, ROCD, real-event and false-memory OCD, meta OCD, health anxiety, and others, all through my online therapy practice, Obsessless Therapy. I also integrate ACT to help people build more flexible ways of responding to thoughts and emotions. I have worked with neurodivergent clients and warmly welcome individuals of all genders and backgrounds.
