About me
With over twenty years of clinical experience, I’m an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor, committed to helping individuals improve their emotional wellbeing and quality of life through evidence-based psychological therapy. My approach is integrative, drawing on a range of therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic and Humanistic approaches. In addition, my practice is informed by Positive Psychology, Solution-Focused Therapy, Reflective Practice, Motivational Interviewing, and the principles of Emotional Intelligence. I offer both short- and long-term therapy, depending on what suits your individual needs. All sessions are currently delivered online or by phone in a safe, supportive and confidential space. My aim is to work with you in a collaborative and compassionate way, helping you to explore your concerns and find a way forward that feels right for you. Over the years, I’ve worked across a variety of settings, including the NHS (primary care and psychological services), education, addiction services, the community sector, private practice, and within corporate environments such as banking. This breadth of experience allows me to support clients from all walks of life with a wide range of issues. I work in accordance with the BACP’s Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and receive regular clinical supervision, as recommended by professional standards. I also engage in ongoing professional development to ensure I remain up-to-date and well-informed in my therapeutic practice. Taking the first step into therapy can be life-changing or perhaps you are returning to therapy after some time. Whatever brings you here, I’m committed to offering a supportive and respectful space where you can explore what matters to you. I look forward to working with you.
