Maybe a one-off life event has occurred that you are struggling with or maybe you are repeating patterns in your life that are not serving you. My aim is to leave you feeling more empowered and in control of your life. I am a qualified BACP registered therapist with 11 years of experience working with adults and young people over 18 years of age. I have over 11 years of experience working with a bereavement organisation and have helped clients work through complicated grief situations and the roller coaster of emotions that this can bring. Prior to training as a counsellor I worked in the commercial world therefore developing a sound understanding of the pressures that this can bring. In addition to working in bereavement, I have also worked with many other clients from different backgrounds and presenting with different issues, for example, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, work related issues, marital problems. I have trained psycho-dynamically which in simple terms means that I look to the past, including childhood to find out how these experiences are, usually unconsciously, affecting the present. I have also trained in EFT Emotional Freedom Technique also known as Tapping.
