About me
My work is focused on reproductive and perinatal mental health. I support people navigating fertility challenges, including IVF, IUI, recurrent loss, and unexplained infertility, as well as pregnancy, pregnancy loss, postnatal anxiety, birth trauma, and the profound identity shifts of becoming a parent. This includes people across all paths to parenthood and family structures, whether you are doing it solo, with a same-sex partner, through donor conception, surrogacy, or in any other constellation. I also work with people moving through perimenopause and menopause, and those carrying the quiet exhaustion of parenting or caring for others. What draws me to this work is the particular kind of loneliness that can live inside it. Fertility struggles and pregnancy loss are experiences that often go unspoken, held together tightly so as not to upset others, or minimised because there is no visible evidence of the grief. The postnatal period can be similarly isolating because everyone wants to hear that it's wonderful, and the complicated truth can feel unspeakable. Therapy with me is a space where the complicated truth is welcome. Where nothing you feel is too much, too messy, or too contradictory to bring. I work in a relational, person-centred and psychodynamic way, drawing on mindfulness where it's helpful. Sessions are collaborative and we'll work at your pace, explore the patterns and experiences that are shaping how you feel today, and build towards something that feels steadier and more like your own life. I see clients in-person in Notting Hill, London, and online across the UK. If you'd like to get in touch, you can reach me through Welldoing or via my website. I respond to all enquiries within two working days.
