About me
Psychotherapy with me is about looking at different perspectives: different angles on why we might feel or think the way that we do about certain things. This might be about the past that formed us, the future we are concerned about, and the people we are in relations with - including ourselves. My approach centres on exploring how early and adult experiences influence the way we see ourselves and engage with the world, often beneath our conscious awareness. Some of the individuals I work with have endured adversity - whether through trauma, neglect, or relational harm - while others may come seeking a gentle space to explore whatever is on their mind, without expectation or judgment. My life’s ambition is simple: to make therapy feel deeply human, steady in its competence, and truly worth your while. I support clients globally online, as well as face-to-face in London. At heart, what matters most to me is creating a space where you feel safe, understood, and met as you are.

Hi, I'm Laura. ✨ Reaching out to a therapist can sometimes feel like a big step, so take your time exploring this space and seeing if I might be the right fit for you, both as a person and as a practitioner. For those who prefer a quick snapshot: My name is Laura. Following my studies at Oxford University, I worked as a lawyer for a little while in London before following my passion into the world of psychology and psychotherapy. I am experienced at supporting people with a range of presenting issues including anxiety, depression and mood disorders, trauma and PTSD, as well as attachment and relationship/interpersonal difficulties. I have extensive clinical experience within secondary care settings and my practice is enriched by ongoing professional development, including specialist training in relationships. Beyond theories and qualifications, I'm just another human being - and that’s what I bring to my practice. If any of this speaks to you, please know you’re welcome to reach out. Taking the first step isn’t always easy, but it can be the beginning of meaningful change. Outside of clinical work, I try and live by the Italian philosophy of "mangia bene e ridi spesso" - eat well and laugh often.
