About me

I am working privately & for the NHS. I have had over twenty years experience of working in addiction services and am experienced with working with trauma, women’s issues, domestic violence, self-harm, depression, anxiety, relationship issues and different types of substance misuse issues. Transactional Analysis is an integrative therapy drawing on different disciplines. It focuses on understanding and improving how we think, feel, and communicate. It looks at the patterns in our behavior and relationships, aiming to help us make positive changes. I provide a safe, emphatic, non-judgmental place for you to explore what is going on for you, and talk things through in a confidential way. I see our relationship as an important aspect of the therapeutic process. Therapy can be challenging, and also extremely rewarding. I believe it is important to work on building a mutual trust between us, to help facilitate empowerment, growth and change. I am committed to ethical practice, and abide by the UKCP Code of Ethics and Professional Practice.
