About me
Most of the people I walk with with are high-functioning, emotionally intelligent adults who grew up in emotionally barren or unsafe homes. They’ve mastered adaptation — becoming the reliable one, the strong one, the peacekeeper. But behind the performance, something is aching. A self they’ve never truly met. This isn’t therapy as you’ve likely known it. What I offer is the result of 35 years walking alongside those who’ve been silenced, overlooked, or expected to hold everything together without being held themselves. You may be carrying a grief that has no words. Patterns that keep playing out, no matter how much insight you gain. A quiet desperation that wonders if anything will ever really touch the places that hurt. That’s where I meet you — To walk with you as the performance begins to fall away and something more real — something yours — can finally emerge. If you’re tired of coping, tired of smiling, tired of holding it all together — I offer a place to stop. Without judgement. Without shame. Just truth, finally met.

Fee structure
My commitment extends beyond the session itself. Between sessions, I remain actively engaged — reading reflections, responding to emails where needed, and carrying your process with me. This isn’t therapy that resets every week. It’s a sustained relationship. The fee reflects the depth of that commitment — not just the hour we spend together, but the space I hold between those hours as well.

Training and qualifications
I’m a consultant psychotherapist with over 35 years’ experience working with adults impacted by adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), developmental trauma, and relational wounding. My training spans multiple modalities including psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT, somatic approaches, narrative therapy, and attachment-informed practice. I integrate these frameworks with a depth of lived experience and long-term therapeutic immersion. Areas of focus include: Childhood trauma and emotionally neglectful environments Developmental attachment wounds Chronic grief, identity loss, and emotional disconnection High-functioning adults carrying hidden suffering Shame, inner critic dynamics, and blocked authenticity Complex relational patterns and self-abandonment The long tail of survival-based adaptation My interest lies not in managing symptoms but in restoring truth — in helping clients meet the parts of themselves they had to silence to stay loved, accepted, or safe. Much of my work begins where previous therapy has left off. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling and am a registered member of the BACP, working in line with its ethical code.
