About me
Welcome. I am a qualified psychotherapist and supervisor with experience of both short-term counselling (6-12 sessions) and longer term psychotherapy. In addition to working privately, I worked in community mental health within the NHS for 8 years with people from a wide variety of backgrounds, struggling with a broad range of difficulties: anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, abuse, psychosis, bereavement, personality disorders, and self-harm. Due to this experience, I am skilled in adapting my approach to suit the needs of each individual that I meet. I also have a particular interest in working with people who either have, or suspect they may have, neurodivergent diagnoses such as ADHD, autism and dyslexia. In addition, I have completed specialist training in methods that work with the body, mind and nervous system to process trauma gently and effectively. I now offer in-person therapy to individual adult clients in West London (W2 - Paddington, Maida Vale, Westminster, Kensington and Chelsea), North-West London (NW5 - Kentish Town, Gospel Oak, Tufnell Park, Camden) and online therapy via Zoom. I am committed to offering you a safe, confidential place to explore your concerns, hopes and fears in a respectful and non-judgemental environment. I trained as an integrative therapist, meaning I draw from a range of therapeutic schools, traditions and practices. This means the way we will work together is unique to you, supporting you to make the changes you want to make and to increase your self-awareness. There is no fixed agenda for our sessions and we always agree together how we work - it is your time and space. If you are reading this, I'm guessing that you are finding life challenging at the moment. Choosing a therapist may seem daunting, so I hope that the information on this page offers some reassurance. Please reach out to me by email or phone to schedule a free initial 15-minute call to see how I may be able to help. I look forward to hearing from you.
