About me
You may be functioning on the outside but struggling on the inside — feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure why certain patterns keep repeating in your life or relationships. You might be tired of coping alone and looking for a space where you can slow things down and really be understood. I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist offering therapy to adults online or in person in my office in Bethnal Green. I work with people who want more than quick fixes — those who are curious about themselves and open to deeper, meaningful change. My work is grounded in empathy, careful listening, and respect for each person’s unique history and inner world. I aim to offer a space where you don’t need to perform, explain yourself perfectly, or have all the answers. How therapy with me can help People come to therapy for many reasons. Perhaps you're experiencing anxiety, low mood, or a sense of dissatisfaction with life. You might be navigating bereavement, relationship difficulties, work-related stress, questions around identity and self-worth or experiencing ADHD related challenges. Sometimes there isn’t a clear “problem” — just a sense that something isn’t right. In our work together, we’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, and relationships at a pace that feels manageable. Over time, this can help you understand the underlying patterns shaping your experiences, loosen what feels stuck, and relate to yourself and others with more clarity and compassion. How I work My approach is psychodynamic. This means we pay attention not only to what is happening in your life now, but also to how earlier experiences may still be influencing you — often outside of conscious awareness. Sessions are a space to think freely and reflect together. By gently exploring recurring emotional themes and relational patterns, we can uncover the deeper roots of current difficulties and support lasting change rather than surface-level solutions. I am experienced in working with a wide range of life challenges including: Depression Anxiety ADHD Loss and bereavement Low self-esteem Relationship and family difficulties Getting started Starting therapy can feel like a big step. I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation so we can talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, how I work, and whether I feel like a good fit for you. There’s no obligation — just a chance to get a sense of each other. Please get in touch to arrange a consultation. Location I work from Bethnal Green, with my office a 5-minute walk from Bethnal Green Underground and Cambridge Heath Overground stations, and around 15 minutes from Whitechapel. Online sessions are also available.
