About me
Hello, my name is Karolina and I am an accredited psychotherapist offering a reflective and creative therapeutic space for individuals seeking personal growth, emotional resilience, and improved mental well-being. My approach is collaborative and client-centred, providing a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental environment where you can explore past experiences and present challenges at your own pace. I am a recognised provider with leading UK health insurance companies, including AXA, Bupa, Bupa Global, Aviva, Vitality, WPA, and Healix. I welcome both insured and self-funding clients. Sessions are available in-person and online, offering flexibility and convenience. Each session is tailored to meet your individual needs, supporting you on your journey towards greater emotional clarity and psychological well-being. Because no two people are the same, I believe therapy should be personalised to fit your unique journey. I practise Integrative Psychotherapy, an eclectic approach that combines elements from various therapeutic schools. This means therapy is shaped around your values, experiences, and needs—not a one-size-fits-all method. This style fosters a dynamic and creative relationship between client and therapist, built on trust and mutual respect. I believe that this trusting relationship is fundamental to healing. Providing a safe, reflective space where you can reconnect with painful memories and emotions is essential for successful therapy. My experience spans a variety of settings, including the NHS (secondary care and art therapy), IAPT services, private practices like the Priory Wellbeing Centre in Canterbury, universities such as Kent, Middlesex, and the Open University, and charities supporting people facing homelessness or trauma. These roles have enriched my approach and broadened my understanding of diverse client needs.
