Underpinning my practice is the belief that we are made up of mind, body and soul. Our essential qualities can be covered over by the stress of life and our environment. Our work is to reveal the soul nature underneath and find ways to heal and nourish the true self. Adult Therapy Common areas of exploration include suicidal ideation, divorce, bereavement and loss. I am particularly interested in trauma work and how we can release it from our bodies. I am comfortable with what some clients can find embarrassing such as body issues and sexual fantasies. I have specialist training to work with autism, boarding school syndrome, men's work, psychosexual health and relationships. Working with Children Child sessions in schools, at home or online are client led, play therapy, using board games, art, music, sandplay - allowing the child to speak through metaphor, symbolism and archetypes rather than having to rely on words. Parent Consultations I am ideally placed to help parents unpick some of their child's behaviours at school as well as home, discuss what might be going on and how these difficulties relate to your own experiences of early life. These might include separation anxiety, challenging behaviour, meltdowns, disrupted sleep, friendship difficulties, sibling rivalry, poor learning or neurodiversity. Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy As a trainee (professional development) at the Contemporary Institute of Clinical Sexology (CICS) I am interested in working with individuals who may need support around sexual function problems whether you identify as AFAB, AMAB, Trans or Nonbinary, working with CSB, Kink Sexualities, Sexual Health and Fertility Matters, Disability, Sexual Trauma, Shame, Relationship Diversities, Intimate Partner Violence and Sexual Violence.
