About me

I work with clients ranging with a number of presenting issues. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into their specific issue, where appropriate, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back on track. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter. My offer of help is inclusive, no matter your ethic background or religion. I can help with abuse, anxiety, bereavement, cultural issues, depression, loss, post-traumatic stress, relationships (couples), trauma, low mood, sense of self, self-esteem and confidence. Also with developing resilience, personal growth and transformation; healing from trauma and emotional hurts; overcoming stress, burnout; anxiety; overcoming negative life patterns, developing healthy boundaries; stopping the intergenerational transmission of negative emotional patterns, combating negative relationship dynamics; connecting more deeply with your inner self, etc. Using the integrative approach involves: the psychodynamic model to help me to access the origin of a particular issue; cognitive behavioural therapy to assist with devising tools to address unhealthy behavioural/thinking patterns, and person-centred approaches to assist with developing and remaining in a professional client-led/therapeutic relationship. I provide a non-judgemental space that gives you an opportunity for exploration. Our sessions will be led by you. I will support you in your inherent ability to know your own intentions and have them honoured; allowing you to know yourself more and increase awareness. We could reflect on what may not be working for you and use agreed tools to address this.
