About me

Something has brought you here, and that matters. Perhaps you're feeling anxious, low, or overwhelmed. Maybe you're caught in patterns you don't fully understand, struggling with self-doubt, or carrying the weight of past experiences that still shape your life today. Or perhaps you're not in crisis, but simply sense that something could be different, that you deserve to feel more at ease with yourself and the world around you. Whatever has brought you to this moment, you don't have to figure it out alone. I offer a warm, confidential, and safe space where you can speak freely and feel genuinely heard. As a psychodynamic counsellor, I work with what lies beneath the surface, helping you understand not just what you're feeling, but why, and how your past may be shaping your present. What I Can Help With I work with a wide range of difficulties, including: Anxiety and stress Depression and low mood Low self-esteem and self-doubt Trauma and PTSD Relationship difficulties and family issues OCD Religious trauma, spiritual abuse, and recovery from high-control groups or cults That last area is something I specialise in. If you've left a cult, high-control religion or organisation and are struggling to make sense of that experience, or find that it still affects how you think, feel, and relate to others, I understand the particular complexity of this kind of recovery, and I'm here to support you through it. How I Work My approach is integrative and psychodynamic, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic tools, always tailored to you, while keeping a particular focus on how your early experiences and relationships may be influencing how you feel and behave today. Often, the patterns that cause us the most pain, overthinking, fear of getting things wrong, difficulty trusting yourself or others , have deep roots. Therapy gives us the space to explore those roots together, gently and at your own pace, so that real and lasting change becomes possible. This is a collaborative process. I won't tell you what to do or how to feel. Instead, we work together to build greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and, over time, a stronger, kinder relationship with yourself and others. Getting in Touch Reaching out for counselling can feel like a big step, and it's completely natural to feel uncertain or unsure where to begin. I offer a free initial conversation so you can share a little about what's brought you to therapy, ask any questions you have, and get a sense of whether working together feels right for you. There's no pressure, no commitment, and no need to have everything figured out before you get in touch. I'd be glad to hear from you. Counselling in English and Italian I offer therapy in both English and Italian | offro consulenze anche in italiano. If Italian is your first language, or simply the language in which you find it easier to express your inner world, you're warmly welcome to work with me in Italian. Practical Details I offer both short-term and long-term counselling, depending on your needs. Sessions are available weekly, either in-person or online, with flexible options to suit your schedule.
