About me
Many people come to therapy because they sense something is no longer working in the way it once did. They may want to understand themselves better, or find themselves struggling with feelings, thoughts or patterns that are difficult to make sense of. Many of my clients appear to cope outwardly while carrying a great deal internally. I offer a reflective and collaborative space where we can explore this together with curiosity and care. I have spent much of my life caring for and supporting people in different ways, which ultimately led me to psychotherapy. Through both personal and professional experiences, I became increasingly interested in how people adapt to difficult relationships, experiences and expectations, and how these patterns can continue long after they were once needed. In therapy, I can offer space for you to understand your experiences more deeply, with compassion rather than judgement. My way of working is gentle, thoughtful and collaborative, while also supporting you to notice any patterns, develop insight, and find a more intentional way forward. To this end, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches with attention to the relationship between us, your lived experience, and what feels most helpful for you. I work with adults who may be navigating anxiety, low mood, identity, relationships, life transitions, trauma, loss, family dynamics, work stress, grief, loss or a sense of feeling disconnected from themselves.
