About me
Areas I Work With: My specialisms include working with anxiety and eating disorders, however I have experience in supporting clients with a wide range of challenges, including: anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, loss and bereavement, disordered eating, and trauma, among other things. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply need a safe space to talk, I’m here to offer you support. My Approach: At the heart of my approach is empathy and compassion. I believe the client-therapist relationship plays a vital role in the therapeutic process, so my priority is to develop a relationship with you in which you feel heard, seen, and safe. I offer a space where, together, we can explore the issues that are troubling you. As an integrative therapist, my approach integrates multiple therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic, person-centred, and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), allowing me to tailor my approach to suit your individual needs. My aim is to use the methods that work best for you. What To Expect: I offer both short-term therapy (8-16 sessions) and longer-term, open-ended therapy. Sessions usually take place on a weekly basis. We can set therapy goals to work towards if you would like, or we can simply hold a space for you to process what you're experiencing. Every few weeks, we will check in and review how you are finding the therapy process and whether you feel it is working for you. Booking a Free Introductory Call: I offer a free 30-minute introductory call, which is an opportunity for us to get to know each other a little, ask questions, and see whether we feel we would be a good fit to work together. In this call, you can tell me a little about what brings you to therapy, and I can tell you a little about the way I work. If you would like to book an introductory call, you are welcome to contact me, or you may book a call directly through my website.
