About me

Life doesn’t always unfold in the way we expect. You might be dealing with grief, loss, or the impact of serious illness. Or perhaps something in your life has shifted your relationships, your identity, or your sense of direction and you’re left feeling unsure how to move forward. I specialise in supporting people through these kinds of experiences. I often work with clients who are navigating bereavement, living with or affected by illness, or adjusting to changes that have altered their sense of self. Some people come feeling overwhelmed or emotionally stuck, while others feel disconnected or unsure how to talk about what they’re going through. My approach is warm, thoughtful, and relational. I offer a space where you can talk openly, at your own pace, without pressure or judgement. There’s no “right way” to feel or process things together we can begin to make sense of your experience and explore what moving forward might look like for you. I also work in an inclusive way with clients from LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities, offering a space where you can feel fully yourself. I offer sessions online If you’re considering therapy, you’re welcome to get in touch for an initial conversation to see if working together feels right.

Training and qualifications

I am a qualified integrative counsellor, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and adapt how I work depending on each person’s needs. Alongside my private practice, I have worked in counselling and leadership roles within health and charity settings, supporting people affected by serious illness, grief, and complex life challenges. This includes working closely with individuals and families navigating bereavement, long-term conditions, and significant life changes. My experience has given me a strong foundation in working with emotionally complex and often life-changing situations, and I am comfortable supporting both the immediate impact and the longer-term emotional effects. I am committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice, ensuring that my work remains safe, ethical, and responsive to the people I support.
