About me

To begin, what distinguishes me from other counselling services is that I have a pleasant aura that I bring into sessions, energy and authenticity are my strong points, and it's where I can strive to establish a road to a safe, positive atmosphere for each and every one of my clients. This role that I have so much passion for has allowed me to recognise the value I bring to the community. I have extensive experience working with many different people ranging from young people to adults. There have been many provisions I have supported over the years that range from nurseries, primary schools, secondary schools, and sixth forms, and it is still a pleasure for me to be a part of. I have gained valuable experience that has helped me grow to the best of my abilities, for which I am grateful, and what makes me happy is knowing that I can give back to the community I serve. As a specialist, I go above and beyond daily to support those in need. The qualifications I've gained aim to support an individual’s emotional needs regardless of the nature of their experiences. I obtained an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy Counselling Skills and a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice qualifications to support my client’s needs, and I am further on the pursuit for more knowledge and understanding as I see the importance of enhancing myself by striving in every way possible to be the best version I can be. My work is deeply rooted in Carl Rogers’s person-centered approach, which holds a simple but powerful belief: people already possess the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change. Therapy is not about fixing you or telling you who to be—it’s about creating the conditions where your own inner wisdom can emerge. I offer a therapeutic space grounded in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. This means you are met without judgment, pressure, or expectations to perform or “get it right.” You don’t need to explain away your feelings or censor parts of yourself here. All of you is welcome. Rather than directing or advising, I work collaboratively, following your lead and honoring your lived experience as the most important guide. I listen closely—not just to your words, but to the emotions, values, and meanings underneath them. Through being deeply understood, many people begin to reconnect with parts of themselves that may have been silenced, doubted, or shaped by others’ expectations. I believe emotional distress often arises when we’ve had to move away from our authentic selves in order to be accepted, safe, or loved. Together, we gently explore these patterns and create space for greater self-trust, self-compassion, and congruence between who you are and how you live. At its core, my work is about helping you feel seen, heard, and accepted enough to grow in your own direction—at your own pace. From this foundation, insight, healing, and change tend to unfold naturally.

Training and qualifications

What sets me apart as a counsellor is the energy and authenticity I bring into each session. I naturally create a calm, welcoming space where clients feel safe, comfortable, and truly listened to. I believe that feeling at ease is the first step toward meaningful change, and I work hard to build a positive, supportive atmosphere where you can be yourself without judgement. I’m deeply passionate about the work I do and the people I support. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of individuals, from young children to older adults. I’ve supported clients across nurseries, primary schools, secondary schools, and sixth forms—settings I still genuinely enjoy being part of. Working with young people is a particular strength of mine, and I have extensive experience helping them navigate emotional challenges, life changes, and personal growth. My journey in counselling has been shaped by valuable hands-on experience, ongoing learning, and a strong desire to give back to the community. I find real fulfilment in supporting people during difficult moments and helping them feel empowered to move forward. I go above and beyond to ensure each person I work with feels heard, understood, and supported in a way that suits them. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy Counselling Skills and a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling Practice. Alongside my qualifications, I’m committed to continuing my professional development, as I believe learning never stops. By constantly developing my knowledge and skills, I can offer the best possible support to those who place their trust in me.
